On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, HOTEL SCHOOL staff, students, partners and invited guests participated in the project results dissemination conference of the project “Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit”.

During the event, the project manager, Mg. paed, MIB Olga Zvereva, Chair of the Council, Development Director, presented the developed toolkit for fostering sustainable hospitality digitalisation:

Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Guidebook for VET Learners and Professionals (initial, continuous learners)
Pedagogy of Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation for VET Educators and hospitality business field coaches and team leads
Digital course “Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit” with materials
Series of Webinars on Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation

During the conference, together with other speakers we also explored the website dedicated to the project, a digital solution developed by the partner DigitalGuest, discussed the challenges and benefits that digitalisation poses and offers to the hospitality industry, and much more!

January 09, 2024: Online project results dissemination conference hosted by Inercia Digital

On January 9, 2024, the partner Inercia Digital (Spain) held the online project results dissemination conference of the project “Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit”.

The conference took place via ZOOM, and together we discussed the cutting-edge project results, industry developments in sustainable hospitality digitalisation, and how it can be used in business. Industry guest speakers also participated in the conference.

October 27, 2023: Dissemination Conference of the project “Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit” in Rome, Italy

On October 27, 2023, ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL, a partner in the Erasmus+ project “Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit”, held the dissemination conference of the project results in Rome, Italy. More than 40 participants attended the conference, along with the chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant “Acciuga”. Students of partner institutions had the opportunity to participate in the conference and present updates on the research on sustainable hospitality digitalisation.

During the event participants also reviewed the developed project results, tested the materials, and shared information on the updates and challenges in hospitality digitalisation. Thank you to the ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL for holding the multiplier event in the centre of Rome and spreading the word about the project to the local and international communities!

October 24-28, 2023: Workshop Training in Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation for Hospitality VET Learners

On October 24-28, 2023, learners from Latvia, Dania, Cyprus, and Italy participated in the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) “Workshop Training in Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation for Hospitality VET Learners” in Rome, Italy. The workshop was organised by the hosting partner, ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL, in the framework of the project “Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit”.

During the five days of the workshop, the students participated in the research and presentation activities in digitalisation practices, trained in the digital course activities, attended the sustainable hospitality companies, including the Michelin restaurants, and had a meeting with the chef on the development and running of the Michelin-starred restaurant “Acciuga”. We thank the ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL for running the workshop and organising all activities. We also thank the rest of the partners and all participants!

19.-20. september, 2023: Det fjerde transnationale møde

Den 19.-20. september 2023 afholdt HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College, repræsenteret af kollegiets leder Julia Pasnaka og udviklingsdirektør Olga Zvereva, det fjerde transnationale møde i Erasmus+ projektet "Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit" (projektnr. 2021-1-LV01-KA220-VET-000033140).

Sammen arbejdede vi på projektresultaterne, optog to webinarer om bæredygtig digitalisering inden for hotelbranchen, forberedte os til projektets formidlingsfase og udarbejdede den tekniske side af projektets udførelse. Vi takker alle projektledere og repræsentanter fra partnerne for det produktive møde: Digital Guest og projektleder Henrik Pahus, Dania Academy og Karen Marie Saaby Nielsen, Torben Underlin, City Unity College Nicosia og leder af Hotel Animation Programme Galina Berjozkina - El Dzamila, Inercia Digital og innovationschef Marta Marmol Munoz, generel manager Nereida Varela García, finansiel controller Paola Furtado Rosales, samt Jesus Lozano for online deltagelse, og ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL og forelæser Jocopo Bosio!

6.-7. juni, 2023: Det tredje transnationale møde

Den 6.-7. juni 2023 deltog partnerne i Erasmus+ projektet "Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit" fra HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College (Letland), City Unity College Nicosia (Cypern), Dania Academy (Danmark), DigitalGuest APS (Sverige), INERCIA DIGITAL SL (Spanien) og Italian Hospitality School SRL (Italien) i det tredje transnationale møde i Nicosia, Cypern.

Under mødet diskuterede vi sammen med projektets partnere fra City Unity College Nicosia (Cypern), Dania Academy (Danmark), DigitalGuest APS (Sverige), INERCIA DIGITAL SL (Spanien) og Italian Hospitality School SRL (Italien) de praktiske aspekter ved at organisere en række webinarer om bæredygtig digitalisering inden for hotelbranchen. Vi arbejdede også på detaljerne i workshoppen om bæredygtig digitalisering inden for hotelbranchen, som skal afholdes i Rom, Italien, i oktober 2023, rettet mod elever inden for hotel- og turismeuddannelser.

Et vigtigt højdepunkt for begivenheden var afholdelsen af det første webinar i serien "Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit". Under webinaret gennemgik vi uddannelsesmaterialerne udviklet i løbet af projektet og udforskede, hvordan de skulle anvendes. Webinaret samlede 35 deltagere, og der kom mange spørgsmål fra publikum.

8.-12. maj, 2023: Workshop i Pædagogik for Bæredygtig Digitalisering inden for Hotelbranchen for undervisere inden for hotel- og turismeuddannelser i Huelva, Spanien.

Fra den 8. til den 12. maj 2023 deltog HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College, repræsenteret af formanden for rådet og udviklingsdirektør, lektor Olga Zvereva, samt lederen af studieprogrammet, docent Dzintars Priedītis, sammen med projektets partnere fra Erasmus+ projektet "Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit" (projektnr. 2021-1-LV01-KA220-VET-000033140), i LTTA (læring, undervisning og træningsaktiviteter) "Workshop i Pædagogik for Bæredygtig Digitalisering inden for Hotelbranchen for undervisere inden for hotel- og turismeuddannelser" i Huelva, Spanien. Aktiviteterne blev arrangeret af projektets partner, Inercia Digital, og projektlederne Vivian Garcia og Jesus Lozano.

Workshoppen varede i fem dage og var fyldt med træningssessioner samt besøg hos lokale pædagogiske og hotelrelaterede organisationer.

Vi takker alle projektets deltagere samt seniorlektorer Torben Underlin og Torben Wenneberg fra DANIA Academy, lektor Giulia Trojano fra ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL SRL og lektorer Iordanis Katemliades og Galina Berjozkina - El Dzamila fra City Unity College Nicosia, for deres effektive samarbejde under træningen og arbejdet med detaljerne i den digitale kursus "Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit". Sammen førte vi virkelig værdifulde og indsigtfulde diskussioner om faglige emner inden for bæredygtig digitalisering inden for hotelbranchen!

7.-8. marts, 2023: Det andet transnationale møde

Den 7.-8. marts 2023 afholdt seks partnere fra Erasmus+ Projekt nr. 2021-1-LV01-KA220-VET-000033140 "Sustainable Hospitality Digitalisation Toolkit" det andet transnationale møde i Randers, Danmark, som blev afholdt af Erhvervsakademi Dania.

Partnerne arbejdede med projektresultaterne, deltog i foredrag for pædagoger om Hybrid Teaching præsenteret af pædagogisk konsulent Sofie Weikop fra Dania Academy, og Cognitive Offloading with ChatGPT præsenteret af gæstetaler David Lindholm, IT-didaktisk konsulent fra Smartlearning (en online academy hostet af erhvervsakademierne i Danmark). Projektets partnere besøgte også Digital Guest-filialen og andre hotelvirksomheder i Aarhus, Danmark, for at diskutere den tekniske side af projektets udførelse gennem digitalisering.

Vi takker repræsentanterne fra værtsorganisationen, Erhvervsakademi Dania, samt gæstetalere og de besøgte virksomheder for at dele deres erfaring og produktive møder med henblik på at etablere moderne og innovative pædagogiske materialer samt materialer til selvstyret læring!

August 29-30, 2022: The 1st Transnational Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden

Fra den 29. til den 30. august 2023 samledes tolv repræsentanter fra partnerne - HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Managment College (Letland), City Unity College Nicosia (Cypern), Dania Academy (Danmark), DigitalGuest APS (Sverige), INERCIA DIGITAL SL (Spanien) og Italian Hospitality School SRL (Italien), samt online-deltagere, til det første transnationale møde i Stockholm, Sverige. Under mødet diskuterede vi operationelle emner i projektet og forenede vores vision om de forventede resultater.

Vi siger mange tak til vores fantastiske vært, DigitalGuest, for deres varme velkomst, og er meget glade for at fortsætte vores samarbejde med alle de andre partnere i projektet!
